Christmas countdown begins at Notcutts with Santa’s big arrival
The magic of Christmas is just around the corner at Notcutts Garden Centre Victoria in Pontefract, as the elves are busy preparing for Santa’s arrival! On Sunday, November 18 at 11.30am, children will have a chance to see Santa arrive by horse and carriage, where he will officially open the garden centre’s grotto and kickstart the festive fun at Notcutts.
In the traditional grotto, which will be open from November 18, children can meet Santa and receive a special gift. On November 18 a local brass band will also be playing some festive tunes. There’s no pause for Santa Claus as children can also join the man himself for a truly memorable breakfast or tea in the Notcutts’ restaurant, and doggies can join in the fun too with an exclusive visit to the Santa Paws pet grotto.
James Wrycraft, centre manager at Notcutts Victoria, said: “The countdown to Christmas has begun and we have lots of fun activities and festive treats for the whole family to enjoy. We’re excited for Santa’s big arrival at Notcutts on November 18, it’s set to be a fantastic free event and we look forward to welcoming local people to join in the fun!”
The Christmas magic continues in the Notcutts’ restaurant where chefs will be preparing a delicious two or three-course festive feast, available to book from Monday, November 19.
